Argentinian Steakhouse · Cádiz

Ritualde Fuego

Querer la chancha y los veinte — to want it all.

The name

The hog, the sow
and the twenty piglets

It comes from an old Argentine saying — “querer la chancha y los veinte” — which means to want it all.

La Chancha y los 20 set out to bring this city the finest produce for those who love good meat and all things Argentinian. We are in the heart of Cádiz, on calle Plocia, welcoming with passion and dedication anyone who wants to discover “el buen comer” — the art of eating well — and the full intensity of Argentinian cooking.

The craft

Only the chosen few
know the secret

Chuletón steak over the embers
Fire and passion
In Argentina, not just anyone makes an asado. Only the chosen few can — because they have a gift that makes them keepers of the secrets of meat and embers, and the mastery to lift it off the fire at the exact moment, that delicacy best enjoyed in company.
Every so often, fire becomes that magic that makes the charcoal crackle and turns meat into something close to jewellery.

Tartare, braised beef cheek, confit cod, empanadas, homemade desserts. We look for good produce, technique and a spark of Argentina in every plate.
